​培養孩子的秩序感、獨立性、專注力、及手眼協調的能力 Cultivate children's abilities in order, independency, concentration, and eye-hand coordination

6歲以下的孩子，對於日常生活的所有事物都很有興趣，利用孩子喜歡的事物，培養孩子的專注力及手眼協調的能力，也在同時讓孩子建立獨立性及秩序感。

透過操作建立數理邏輯能力 Help children develop mathematic logic concepts through operations from 1-on-1 correspondence to 4-digit arithmetic. Internalize the concept of arithmetic and prepare for the future abstract operations.

蒙特梭利以結構化的方式，讓孩子們理解抽象的數學概念，透過實際操作，內化邏輯抽象概念，扎實建立數學概念的基礎。幼兒從建立1對1的對應概念開始，到透過數量的加減乘除，建立四則運算的概念，從操作中理解位數 (place value)的概念，逐漸內化數學邏輯概念，為未來抽象運算方式做準備。

透過五官觀察並操作具體的東西，以理解抽象的概念。Help children understand abstract concepts, such as algebra or geometry, through 5 senses and operations.

孩子們在探索環境的時候，需要有敏銳的五感，從視覺、聽覺、觸覺、嗅覺、味覺，來探索感受這個世界的美麗。

從拆解聲音到重組聲音的過程，進行創意的書寫表達。Writing is before reading. Children can express their feelings with writing through the process of separating sounds and blending them together to make their unique creations.

​孩子的語言學習是語言獲得的過程 (language acquisition)，因此營造一個語言豐富的環境，是孩子們獲得語言的方式。教室內的物件標示、工作、及示範，英語全語言的融入都是必要的細節，讓孩子沉浸在語言豐富的環境，才能成就全語言的發展。在完善的雙語言環境設計 (dual language settings)，孩子可以自然地隨環境轉換語言的使用。
